How to Use RepOne Plan (Formerly StrengthOS)

Here's a quick tutorial to get you started on the new RepOne Plan coaching app features. If you'd like to learn how to use the rest of RepOne Plan, check out this video here.

The theme of the new updates is making our powerful training platform work for more types of coaches, and work better for the coaches who currently use it. RepOne Plan is a first of its kind platform that's built for people who have multiple relationships with fitness, like most of us do.

TL;DR

  • You can create new organizations within your account, so you can manage multiple rosters for your own training, your friends or family, your clients, and/or your team, from the same place.
  • There are new organization management tools so you can give admin, staff, or owner access to people who collaborate with you on programming.
  • Create and share programs on social media, Reddit, blog posts, etc., for free, and anybody who sees them can use them on the new RepOne mobile app for free.
  • Invite athletes, clients, or members to your roster with a simple customizable invite link.
  • RepOne Plan is now mobile friendly (in beta) so you can create and schedule programs on the go.
  • Every account comes with a personal organization, so you can manage your own training without adding yourself to a team roster. An innovation that, for whatever reason, doesn't seem to exist in similar apps.

It's rare that a trainer or coach only interacts with fitness in one way. Coaches and trainers often work with teams, clients, friends, and family all at the same time. Creating new organizations lets you manage multiple 'rosters'. This is important in RepOne Plan, because new org management features allow staff accounts, and have features for publicly sharing coaching content. We also plan on adding athlete per-org billing for paid clients in the near future.

Switching organizations is super fast and easy. It doesn't require a new username and password, making it easier to manage different rosters in one place.

Additional organization settings make it easy to customize each org with its own branding. Staff management tools give you the ability to collaborate with faculty, assistant coaches, colleagues, or even training partners. Once a staff member is added, they can customize their bio and add social links, which are visible when sharing programs.

The new roster invite links feature is great for any coach or trainer who needs a quick way to get athletes in a team, group, or organization, without adding them each by hand. The links can be used to make QR codes that athletes, members, or clients can scan in person. Optional features like custom URLs, passwords, link expiration dates, and number of invites make the feature highly customizable for any purpose.

To create a roster invite link, first create a team or group. People added to a roster via each link will automatically be assigned to the respective team or group.

Program sharing is an exciting new feature that's only possible because anybody can sign up for RepOne Plan at no cost. Once a program is created, you can choose to share it via a public URL that can be used on social media, Reddit, blogs, in text messages and emails, etc. Anybody who sees that URL will be able to create a free account, download our free mobile app, and start training.

Optionally, you can give them the ability to reach out directly to you to follow up about paid coaching services.

Link to the program wherever you like to share your coaching content. When potential athletes, clients, or members open the program, they'll see a program description, a preview of the contents, the option to reach out (if enabled), or a coach bio.

Using shared programs is easy. Tap the button at the bottom of the screen and the appropriate app store will pop up. If you already have the app downloaded, tapping open will instantly assign the program to your personal organization.

If you're using a desktop browser, the bottom of the screen will instead give you the option to copy the program to your RepOne Plan account, so you can modify it however you like.

RepOne Plan is also now mobile friendly, allowing you to manage your athletes, clients, members, family, or friends on the go, as well as create, edit, and share programs. Mobile program creation is more stable on desktop while in beta, but still works well enough for most workflows.

We hope you're as excited about these changes as we are. We're slowly rolling out invites as we stress test the system, starting with Tether customers.

With that said, each new and existing RepOne Plan account has the ability to invite as many new RepOne Plan and RepOne mobile app users as they like. We're putting the power of inviting new users in your hands, please feel free to share as needed.

Thanks,

Jordan
